Guided 2-Day Mt. Fuji Climbing Tour (Fujinomiya Route)

1. A simple, cost-effective tour

This plan does not include the 90-120 minute hot spring bath after descending the mountain.
Eliminating the travel time to the hot spring and the time spent bathing has two major benefits.

① Arrive around Shinjuku Station at 2pm at the earliest!

By eliminating the need to stop at a hot spring after descending the mountain, you can avoid afternoon highway traffic jams, which means you can get home earlier and spend more time recovering from fatigue.

②It's a great deal because there is no charge for hot spring bathing!

The cost of hot spring bathing will be reflected in the price, offering you a great deal.

It's summer, so even if you go to a hot spring, you'll sweat again by the time you get home, and if you have to take a bath at home again,
I thought I didn't need it, so I removed it from the plan, and it turned out to be a great value plan with no waste.
The tour includes everything you need, including a guided hike, rental climbing equipment, and a bus attendant.

2. The Fujinomiya Route: Short, clear, and scenic

Of the four routes to climb Mount Fuji, the Fujinomiya route on the Shizuoka side has three appealing points: 1) the walking distance is short, 2) it is not crowded, and 3) the scenery is beautiful.

Reason 1: The walking distance is the shortest

The Yoshida route is about 14km, while the Fujinomiya route is about 8.5km, which is about 5.5km shorter.

Reason 2: Avoid crowds and enjoy a comfortable stay

Comparing the number of climbers by route in 2025, the Yoshida Route will have 121,068 climbers, while the Fujinomiya Route will have 55,121 climbers, less than half that number.
This avoids crowds and allows you to focus on your guide's optimal pace.

Reason 3: The scenery while climbing is outstanding

When you look back while climbing, you can see the ocean below you, which is refreshing.

Luggage you don't need for mountain climbing

You can leave your luggage at the souvenir shop or lockers at the trailhead or Fujinomiya 5th Station for a fee.

■About the target age for participation

This course is for children in the fourth grade of elementary school and above.

■About rental methods

For rental items, a link to the rental application form will be included in the "Application Information" email that will be sent to you after you apply. Please apply using this form at least one week before your departure.
Rental items can be picked up and returned at the Yamadougu Rental Shop Fujinomiya Gogome branch.
If you rent hiking boots or a backpack, please bring your own shoes and bag.
Luggage not needed for the climb can be left at the souvenir shop at Fujinomiya 5th Station for a fee.

■About mountain entrance fees

To climb Mt. Fuji, a separate toll and entrance fee of 4,000 yen will be charged.
On the Shizuoka side (including the Fujinomiya route), you will need to complete mountain entry procedures before climbing. Please be sure to register in advance by the day before you depart.
