About the Mt. Fuji climbing tour

The typical way to climb Mount Fuji is to go by car or bus to the fifth station and then start climbing from there, aiming for the summit. Mount Fuji has four hiking trails and a fifth station, and this tour will climb from the most popular Yoshida Trail, and the summit will only be reached from the Yoshida Trail. The highest peak (Kengamine, 3,776m) is on the opposite side of the summit.
◎There are many mountain huts and first aid stations, so it is safe even for beginners.
◎You can see the sunrise anywhere along the route.
◎The trailhead (fifth station) is as busy as a tourist spot.
×It's a popular course so it's often crowded.

About the Circumnavigation of the Hachinohe Basin

Ohachimeguri (walking around the crater at the summit of Mount Fuji) is a complete circuit around the crater. The crater has a diameter of approximately 780 meters, making one circuit approximately 3 kilometers long. It takes approximately 90 minutes. Near the summit of the Fujinomiya Trail is the inner shrine of Fuji Sengen Taisha Shrine, and it's also just a short walk away from the highest point, Kengamine, at 3,776 meters. The Fujisan Summit Post Office (opening dates for 2026 are yet to be determined) is located at the inner shrine of Fuji Sengen Taisha Shrine. The summit of the Yoshida Trail is located directly opposite, so to get to Kengamine, you'll need to circle the entire mountain. The Fujisan Summit Circumferential Trail, which circles the summit of Mount Fuji, is scheduled to open after July 10th. Until it opens, Ohachimeguri is not available.

We will accompany you on the mountain trail from the 5th station to the mountain hut, and from the hut to the summit, but when descending, you may be free to do so at your guide's instruction. The guide's instructions are absolute while in the mountains. If you are inadequately equipped, do not follow the guide's instructions, are deemed to be clearly less physically fit than the others, or the guide determines that you are unable to continue climbing due to safety concerns, the guide may force you to withdraw at his or her discretion. About the climbing route

The route varies depending on the tour. Please check the itinerary (schedule). All routes take you by bus to the fifth station and then start climbing from there. The same applies on the way back, where you will descend to the fifth station.

  • **The schedule may be subject to significant changes due to factors such as traffic conditions or natural disasters.** Please note that we cannot provide refunds or other compensation due to such changes.
  • The times listed for each tour are only a guideline and may not be carried out on time. If there are any changes, the mountaineering staff or mountaineering guide will inform you.
  • The tour will proceed even in the rain. There are various factors that may prevent you from reaching the summit, including weather, traffic conditions, trail conditions, and your physical strength. There is also the possibility that you may not be able to see the sunrise.
  • To ensure a safe climb, please be sure to follow the instructions of the mountain guide, accompanying staff, mountain huts, and safety instruction centers.
  • Depending on the weather and other factors, the mountain guide, accompanying staff, mountain hut, or safety guidance center may decide to cancel the climb or make significant changes to the itinerary.
  • Your mountain guide or accompanying staff may ask you to rent equipment.
  • If you are not properly equipped, we may force you to withdraw from the climb at the discretion of the mountain guide, accompanying staff, mountain hut, or safety center. In such cases, we will not be able to provide any refunds.
  • If a customer is late for the departure time of any part of the itinerary, the customer will lose their right to continue on the remaining part of the itinerary. Even if you contact us in advance and a remedy is offered, the right is lost, and the remedy is not guaranteed, so we cannot be held responsible. Please check each meeting time yourself and make sure not to be late.
  • Please note that you cannot leave any luggage on the bus.
  • If you decide to stay (take a nap) at a mountain hut other than the one you planned to stay at due to reasons such as dropping out on the day of the trip, you will be responsible for the accommodation (nap) fee, which will be charged at your own expense. There will be no refunds.
  • On each route (Yoshida, Fujinomiya, Gotemba, etc.), there are forks in the descent path. If you make a mistake and descend the mountain, you will be asked to rejoin the group along the way or turn back, at your own expense and arrangements. Even if you rejoin the group along the way, we cannot guarantee that the tour will continue from that point on. Please be careful.
Fuji climbing precautions
  • Regardless of the route you take to climb Mt. Fuji (Yoshida, Fujinomiya, Gotemba, Subashiri), you will need to pay an entrance fee (toll) of 4,000 yen. This is not included in the tour price, so please make your own arrangements (payment).

If you experience altitude sickness (headache, nausea), please let us know immediately and strongly. Depending on your symptoms, you may be advised or forced to retire.
  • All toilets on Mount Fuji from the fifth station onwards require a fee (100 to 300 yen), so be sure to have coins ready.

You will also lose your right to continue on the itinerary. Even if you contact us in advance and are offered relief measures, you will lose your right, and relief measures are not guaranteed and we cannot be held responsible. Please check each meeting time yourself and make sure you are not late.
  • If you use a shuttle bus, you will need to transfer at the main meeting point. There may be a fee to get to the main meeting point. The vehicle you use from the departure point to the transfer point may be different from the one you applied for. The shuttle bus may be canceled depending on the number of passengers. • Depending on the bus's congestion, passengers may be required to use extra seats. Even in such cases, seat belts are still required.
  • The distance between passengers may vary depending on the seat position on the bus.
  • There are no toilets on the bus. There will be toilet breaks every 2-3 hours.

  • Due to unavoidable circumstances such as traffic conditions or weather conditions, there may be delays in bus dispatch times, departure times, or return times at the departure point or local area. This may result in significant changes to the schedule, and in this case, refunds will not be provided.
  • Neither our company nor the transportation company you use will be held responsible if you are unable to use your planned transportation due to traffic conditions, weather conditions, or other unavoidable circumstances.
  • You will need to transfer to a bus from another area at a stopover point (bathing facility, rental shop, etc.).
  • Depending on the number of applications, you may be seated with other passengers. You may also be riding with passengers from other tours.

  • Please cooperate by observing good manners on the train so as not to cause inconvenience to other passengers.
