About the Mt. Fuji climbing tour

The typical way to climb Mount Fuji is to go by car or bus to the fifth station and then start climbing from there, aiming for the summit. Mount Fuji has four hiking trails and a fifth station, and this tour will climb from the most popular Yoshida Trail, and the summit will only be reached from the Yoshida Trail. The highest peak (Kengamine, 3,776m) is on the opposite side of the summit.
◎There are many mountain huts and first aid stations, so it is safe even for beginners.
◎You can see the sunrise anywhere along the route.
◎The trailhead (fifth station) is as busy as a tourist spot.
×It's a popular course so it's often crowded.

About the Circumnavigation of the Hachinohe Basin

Ohachimeguri (walking around the crater at the summit of Mount Fuji) is a complete circuit around the crater. The crater has a diameter of approximately 780 meters, making one circuit approximately 3 kilometers long. It takes approximately 90 minutes. Near the summit of the Fujinomiya Trail is the inner shrine of Fuji Sengen Taisha Shrine, and it's also just a short walk away from the highest point, Kengamine, at 3,776 meters. The Fujisan Summit Post Office (opening dates for 2026 are yet to be determined) is located at the inner shrine of Fuji Sengen Taisha Shrine. The summit of the Yoshida Trail is located directly opposite, so to get to Kengamine, you'll need to circle the entire mountain. The Fujisan Summit Circumferential Trail, which circles the summit of Mount Fuji, is scheduled to open after July 10th. Until it opens, Ohachimeguri is not available.

The guide's instructions are absolute while in the mountains. If you are inadequately equipped, do not follow the guide's instructions, are deemed to be clearly less physically fit than the others, or the guide determines that you are unable to continue climbing due to safety concerns, the guide may force you to withdraw at his or her discretion. | Tour cancellations due to typhoons, etc. |
This tour is scheduled to run every day during the period. It will not be canceled immediately due to a typhoon. It will only be canceled if it is determined that the tour can be carried out based on the conditions of the access route to Mt. Fuji and the hiking trails. ・If an access route is declared "closed" or "suspended" and we determine that there is a low probability of it being "open" or "operating," the tour will be canceled. (Road closures, suspensions, etc. to the tour departure and arrival points will not be taken into consideration.) ・The hiking trail will be based around the seventh station, and if it is deemed possible to climb, the hike will be carried out. (This plan does not guarantee a summit, and does not take into account the conditions on the way to the summit.) If you are staying at a mountain hut at the seventh station or higher, you may be transferred to a hut at a lower altitude depending on the conditions on the day. (If you decide to change mountain huts, you will be charged the actual cost and there will be no refunds.) ・The standard for deciding whether to cancel a flight is to be announced by the evening of the previous day for morning departures, and by around 3:00 PM on the day for evening departures, but there have been cases where the flight was cancelled after departure. In the event of a cancellation, we will contact you by phone or email. You will not be contacted when the event is held. If the tour is cancelled, we will refund your travel fee. ・If you decide to cancel (change) your plan due to weather, trail conditions, etc., the standard cancellation (change) fee will be charged. Even if the tour is cancelled after you have made a cancellation (change) at your discretion, there will be no refund of the cancellation (change) fee. Changes in plan, date, boarding location, or number of people are all subject to the following cancellation fees. |
